BEYOND LIMITS 10 | SNOW LEOPARD TREK — A TRANSFORMATIVE JOURNEY THROUGH BHUTAN FOR CANCER AWARENESS, CONNECTION AND COURAGE (27 NOV – 6 DEC 2025)

STEP INTO BEYOND LIMITS 10: A 10-DAY EXPEDITION OF PURPOSE, PRESENCE & INNER POWER

(27 NOV – 6 DEC 2025)

This is not just an expedition. It's a chance to slow down, strip away the noise, and reconnect with who you really are. It's for those ready to step out of autopilot, break free from old stories, and walk with intention, awareness, and a sense of shared humanity.

Beyond Limits 10 (BL10) is the next expedition under the Beyond Limits Movement. It brings together a community of intentional humans to embark on a transformative journey, one that will challenge you physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically.

We’ll be trekking through Bhutan’s sacred Himalayan trails; holding space for one another, not just to cross wild terrain, but to journey inward. At its core, this expedition isn’t about charity. It’s about conscious presence, shared strength, and a deeper awareness of the silent battles so many around us face.

We don’t walk for them. We walk beside them. We walk to remember how capable we all are of carrying each other, not out of pity, but out of deep respect.

We’re also deeply grateful to have Ellil, a cherished Beyond Limits pioneer and two-time cancer survivor, supporting us in a meaningful way for BL10. While he won’t be joining us on the ground in Bhutan, Ellil remains a powerful force behind the scenes, helping shape the journey through the pre-expedition process and anchoring the spirit of this movement with his lived wisdom.

As someone who’s walked alongside us in the first three editions of Beyond Limits, his legacy continues to light the way for others. His voice, strength, and heart are felt in every step we take.

MEET ELLIL: A BEACON FOR WHAT’S POSSIBLE

One of our pioneer warriors, Ellil, is a two-time cancer survivor who has journeyed with us on three powerful Beyond Limits expeditions. His story is not defined by illness, but by courage, clarity, and purpose.

From the wild plains of Mongolia to a symbolic wheelchair trek across Singapore, Ellil has walked not just for himself, but for everyone learning to rise again. With every step, he has inspired others to speak their truth, reclaim their strength, and live with intention.

Today, he remains a guiding light in the Beyond Limits movement—a quiet force reminding us that resilience is cultivated, strength is shared, and healing often begins with community.

BEYOND ADVENTURE — INTO AWAKENING.

We’re not running a trip. We’re building a movement.

This is not a tour or a CSR program. This is a journey of awakening. Here, you’ll meet people who aren’t just seeking adventure, but seeking something that shifts them. That stretches them. That reveals them.

We’ve had cancer warriors, educators, artists, and first-time trekkers walk this path. What unites them isn’t skill, it’s soul. It’s the willingness to show up fully, without pretending, and walk in shared purpose.

You’ll be walking the iconic Jomolhari – Soi Yaksa trail, trekking across 6 days with mountain passes up to 4,890m and basecamps as high as 4,180m. You’ll feel altitude. You’ll feel discomfort. But more than that, you’ll feel alive, connected, and clear.

THE POWER OF WE – WHERE OUR STRENGTH IS COLLECTIVE AND GROWTH IS SHARED

This six-day trek will stretch us in all the right ways; physically, mentally, and energetically. Expect steep climbs, rugged terrain, deep descents, and the occasional scramble. We’ll ascend up to 4,890m and sleep at altitudes as high as 4,180m, covering close to 90km over the course of the journey.

While the altitude and changing mountain weather can be intense, the route itself is considered moderate for those with a base level of fitness. What matters most isn’t how fast we go, it’s how present we are with the experience and the people around us.

Example in Action: Imagine we’re on the expedition, and one team member is struggling to keep up. Instead of pushing ahead, the group slows down, shares our food, encourages them, and walks together, because our strength and success are seen as part of the collective.

Your win is my win. Your struggle is my concern. We rise and grow together.

This is the energy we move with. Not competition, but compassion. Not self-centered achievement, but shared becoming. We don’t just hike together, we evolve together.

Safety remains a top priority, and we always work closely with our BE Bhutan team to adjust plans if conditions call for it. This is a space for growth, not unnecessary risk. More will also be covered during the official expedition briefing with all participants, where we’ll dive deeper into risk assessment, scenario-based discussions, and how we navigate both the terrain and the inner journey as a collective.

THE JOURNEY UNFOLDS

  • Driving time (Paro to hotel): 15 min

Note: Our BE team will be handling all flights on your behalf, so if you have any specific request, such as longer layovers or an earlier/ later departure to and from Bhutan, let us know and we can arrange it for you.

Upon our arrival in Paro at 4.45pm (GMT+6), our BE Bhutan team will greet us at Paro International Airport for a swift 15-minute transfer to your hotel. Nestled in the heart of western Bhutan, Paro Valley is a breathtaking sanctuary that offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Surrounded by towering peaks and lush, terraced fields, this picturesque valley stands at an altitude of 2,200 meters, making it a perfect starting point for our Bhutanese adventure.

As we explore Paro, prepare to be enchanted by its serene landscapes and ancient temples. The valley is home to the majestic Paro Dzong, a fortress-monastery that rises impressively above the town, and the iconic Kyichu Temple, a revered 7th-century Buddhist site that marks Bhutan’s spiritual beginnings.

In the evening, embark on a leisurely nature hike from Olathang to the 7th-century Kyichu Temple, a revered Buddhist landmark. The hike, lasting 2-4 hours depending on our pace, will help us acclimate for the upcoming trek. The trail winds through dense pine forests, scenic clearings, and rocky terrain, offering glimpses of cascading waterfalls plunging from a 2,000-foot vertical cliff. Paro Taktsang, built in 1692, is said to be blessed by Guru Rinpoche, a revered tantric master from the 8th century. The monastery complex features four main temples and several interconnected dwellings, perched precariously on the cliff with staircases carved into the rock—adding a thrilling adrenaline rush to your journey.

“Beyond Limits is the essence of living out who we believe we are.

Ask yourself, what limits do you have? And when did you decide to accept these limitations you created for yourself?

How can we break through the concrete boundaries we’ve boxed ourselves in? Simple: an extremely compelling vision.

Once you have that, it’s all crystal clear. No what ifs, no excuses, no blaming others. Because that’s when you rise to a different level of intensity and focus. Where all your shoulds (regrets), have now become your musts. When challenges come your way, you will find a way, if not, you are going to make a way. That’s when the real you shows up. And you will never be able to hide that extreme level of spontaneity and excitement that you burn so passionately with, every moment of your life.

All breakthroughs start with a change in your beliefs.

So... what beliefs do you represent?”

— SCOTT TAY, BE FOUNDER

Take a moment to explore the remarkable experiences shared by previous Beyond Limits participants in their journeys. These stories provide a vivid glimpse into the transformative experiences awaiting you when you choose to push your limits alongside us.

We had Zoe, a cancer survivor, join us for Beyond Limits 4, a 50km trek across an icy lake at temperatures plunging below -20 degrees celsius to raise funds for the Singapore Cancer Society. We had Jiaying, who flew to frosty Taiga with us for BL6, looking to support our cause for young cancer patients, but left with a heart full of inspiration, appreciation, and a deeper, loving connection with her mother who she was also caring for, before her succumbing to cancer.

We had Irisha, an inspirational breast cancer survivor who showed us what true strength and tenacity looks like in BL7. And here’s also a visual ‘journal’ of what our participants went through for BL7, because pictures can speak to you about a journey in ways that words cannot.

IS THIS FOR YOU?

Let’s be honest. This isn’t for everyone.

If you’re chasing a photo, a personal achievement, or a vacation vibe, this is not for you.

If you’re unwilling to put ego aside, contribute to the group, or be present with people who are different from you, this is not your space.

We’re not looking for the strongest or the most experienced. We’re looking for those who are grounded, respectful, open-hearted, and committed to the collective. People who are willing to be uncomfortable and still show up with grace.

This is a journey that will push you and expand you. If that excites you more than it scares you, then maybe, just maybe, this is for you.

  • While we have a thoughtfully crafted itinerary, real transformation happens beyond rigid plans. The mountains have their own rhythms and we’ll adapt as needed along the way.

If you’re someone who needs everything to go exactly as expected, this might not be for you. But if you’re open to the unknown, to flow, to growth, then you’re exactly where you need to be.

  • No drama, no diva energy, no turning on one another.

We’re serious about cultivating a safe, supportive space, where kindness, respect, and emotional maturity lead the way. Everyone’s well-being is a shared priority, and we move as one team. If you’re here to lift others up, grow together, and leave ego at the door, you’ll thrive. If not, this might not be your space.

  • There may be moments when a car breaks down or the weather throws us a curveball. That’s part of real adventure. But here’s what we know for sure, our local partners know this land intimately. They’ve guided us safely through it year after year, and we hold deep respect and trust in their wisdom.

If trusting the locals feels like a stretch, this journey may not be for you. But if you’re open to learning from those who live and breathe this land, you’ll find yourself in good hands and in good company.

  • Scott and Kavita will be leading this expedition throughout the journey.

With years of experience leading groups through remote and rugged terrain, we ask that you place your trust in the process, in the structure we’ve created, and in the people walking beside you. Every system we’ve designed, from the pod structure to the way we navigate challenges, is there to keep you safe, supported, and present.

We’ll also open the floor to anyone who feels called to volunteer and lead alongside us. This is purely by choice, and we deeply welcome those who wish to step up, not from ego, but from a place of service and shared responsibility.

If you’re open to co-creating something bigger than yourself, this space will feel like home. But if you prefer to operate solo and resist guidance, this might not be the right fit. Here, we move as one, with trust, respect, and intention.

Read this and still feel the pull? Good. We start with a 20-minute alignment call to get to know you after receiving your registration and ensure this is truly the right fit.

Because this isn’t something you sign up for lightly. And we’re not afraid to say no if the energy’s off.

But if it’s a yes on both ends, you’ll feel it. And we’ll welcome you to the family.

Beyond Limits expeditions involve extensive planning, campaign preparation, and logistical execution across both Singapore and our host country. Withdrawals are only considered under exceptional circumstances, such as medical or urgent family emergencies. In such cases, participants are expected to rely on their travel insurance, and we will provide any necessary supporting documentation to assist with claims.

Your commitment plays a vital role in upholding the values and success of this movement. We deeply appreciate your alignment with these principles.

  • This Beyond Limits expedition will accommodate a maximum of 10 participants, including 1 to 2 dedicated expedition leaders from the BE Singapore team. On the ground, we will be supported by our trusted BE Bhutan team, which consists but is not limited to a nurse, experienced guides, drivers, and a cook.

If you're joining the journey solo, rest assured. We organize 2 to 3 pre-expedition group training sessions in Singapore that focus on both physical and mental preparedness. These sessions often involve long-distance treks ranging from 20 to 30 kilometers, designed to build endurance, mental resilience, and team connection before the real journey begins.

You will be welcomed into a tight-knit, purpose-driven community that trains, grows, and walks forward together.

  • Please refer to the segment above for the provisional itinerary. Kindly note that the actual route may be subject to change due to external factors beyond our control.

A comprehensive expedition briefing will be conducted for all confirmed participants approximately 2 to 3 months prior to departure. This session will cover the detailed itinerary, safety protocols, contingency plans, and all other essential expedition information. Briefings are typically held on a weekday evening or weekend to accommodate varying schedules.

  • Participants will be required to trek distances of up to 19 kilometers per day or more, depending on terrain and weather conditions, with a total estimated distance of approximately 85 kilometers. These distances and routes are subject to change based on local conditions that may be outside the control of Beyond Expeditions and our ground teams.

All participants are personally responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit for this expedition. This includes undergoing regular self-training and completing multiple long-distance treks in Singapore prior to departure. While Beyond Expeditions will conduct several group training sessions locally, these are not a substitute for individual preparation.

This expedition involves extended periods of physical exertion, challenging terrain, and unpredictable weather. It is not suitable for individuals with low baseline fitness or unmanaged medical conditions. Participants with any pre-existing medical issue must obtain written clearance from a licensed medical professional. Beyond Expeditions reserves the right to request proof of medical clearance at any point leading up to the expedition.

We have had participants over the age of 60 successfully complete past expeditions. However, success is entirely dependent on each individual's commitment to thorough preparation, personal responsibility, and accountability to the team. Our guiding principle remains to leave no one behind, but each participant is expected to carry their own weight physically and mentally.

Failure to meet the minimum required preparation or to disclose medical conditions may result in removal from the expedition for safety and operational reasons, at the discretion of the leadership team. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

  • We will be supported by three experienced BE Bhutanese guides and two to three dedicated cooks throughout the expedition. Our kitchen team is capable of preparing a variety of cuisines, ranging from traditional Bhutanese meals to more familiar Western dishes. Halal, vegetarian, and vegan options are available upon request.

For participants with specific dietary needs, such as Halal, vegetarian, or vegan diets, please note that food variety may be more limited compared to standard menus. This feedback is based on past participants who followed these diets during previous expeditions.

That said, your dietary requirements are important to us. Please inform any member of the Beyond Expeditions team in advance, and we will do our best to ensure your meals are well-prepared, safe, and aligned with your preferences, while allowing you to experience the local cuisine where possible.
